Wow.....gosh bless your best friend...I couldn't even imagine!! I'm a Pre-School teacher so I deal with 10 children on a given day....I send my prayers to her...LOL and especially for the babies!! Congrats!!

Thanks...as soon as I have more details I will post. I am flying down to Florida to visit the family in November. Mom was out of it today when we spoke - all those drugs! I'll keep you posted.
Karoline was just shy of 30 weeks.

ST PETERSBURG: Wearing six hospital ID bracelets, proud father Ben Byler unfolded an envelope on Sunday and read out the names of the sextuplets his wife gave birth to the night before.
Brady Christopher, Eli Benjamin, Ryan Patrick, Jackson Robert, Charlie Craig, MacKenzie Margaret - those are the first and middle names of the Byler Six, the first sextuplet birth on record in Florida.
The five boys and one girl, weighing between 0.9 and 1.36 kgs each, were born between 9 and 9:03 pm yesterday to 29-year-old Karoline Byler of Wesley Chapel, Florida.
"This has been quite the Labour Day weekend for Bayfront Medical Centre," hospital spokeswoman Kanika Tomalin said. Photos of the babies have not yet been released.
Five of the babies, who were born more than two months early, were listed in stable condition today at neighbouring All Children's Hospital in St Petersburg, Dr Roberto Sosa told a news conference. He said a medical team was still trying to stabilise one of the boys.
"The babies are still developing," Sosa said. "We are just trying to do what Mother Nature would do, we are cautiously optimistic that everything will turn out all right."
The babies will likely remain in the hospital through Karoline Byler's November due date. Doctors said their birth weights were normal for that stage of development.
Florida's Department of Vital Statistics said the Byler babies would be the first sextuplets on record to be born in the state

Thanks for all the well wishes - I am going to call her soon to check in.
I saw the Newsday article but they don't reference the fact that she was born & raised on Long island. She lived in Stony Brook until she got married!!!
