Okay...c'mon BRU
Today I went in and as usual I always hear complaints about returns BUT today I learned a new added feature (well at least to me)...they track your returns??? Okay seriously, if I dont have the receipt they are going to give me lowest selling price plus an even exchange anhow so why the extra harassment? I dont get it. So now for the first time ever in history I cant return for the next month to BRU. They said this happens to more then a few people. I cant see how it wouldnt when people give you gifts without receipts. Oh well!

ohh, I wondered if they did that since they always ask for license. Just in case, I had Al give his license when we returned items today - I'm glad I did!
But I can't complain too much about BRU - I've returned SO much stuff there without receipts, without problems.
I know Target does that - they have a $$ limit on how much one person can return without a receipt.

I was thinking of making dh do future returns BUT dont they do it by phone #s as well. I feel like a baby criminal

Is this something new? I have returned SO MUCH without a receipt -- sometimes because I was just too lazy to look for it, and sometimes, honestly because I bought it with a coupon and want the full price in credit!  Who's a baby criminal now?

Many retail stores do this now, AlOT you don't even know-from my retail background a long time ago one of the reasons is to deters from people stealing and then returning it for credit I have even seen people go through garbages and the parking lot to look for reciepts, then come into the store, pick up the item then try to return it for a credit-it's a loss prevention thing..
BUT it totally stinks for the honest people and those who really have a need to return something. It's not really something that goes with customer service!
