Please recommend your RE
Just as I posted asking about Dr. Sung I read a lot of negative posts about the practice so I want to get other opinions on other people. Who does everyone see?

ETA May be a dumb question but I am new to this. Does your RE have to be affiliaited with the same hospital as your doctor?

I can't recommend anyone since I don't live in NY, but no, your RE does not have to be affilated with the same hospital as your OB. The two are unrealated. You will only be with the RE until you get pregnant. They will usually discharge you when you are 8 weeks pregnant and then you would just see your regular OB.

I see Dr. Rosenfeld at North Shore The Center for Human Reproduction...I highly recommend them. I was nervous when we had our initial consult back in May but right away, everyone in their office including Dr. Rosenfeld made my DH & I feel so comfortable. I have called them numerous times in the middle of a cycle to get things clarified & you are always welcomed with an open door. The one thing I do like is the fact that everytime I have an appt I see Dr. Rosenfeld. So you are able to establish your own relationship. I don't feel like you are passed off to his associates just bc, it only happens on occassion. For instance, Dr. Rosenfeld is on vacation for 2 weeks, so next week I will meet Dr. Chu. DH & I are so glad we decided to go on this IF journey with Dr. Rosenfeld & his entire staff...
Like the previous poster said, your RE does not have to be affiliated with the same hospital as your Dr since you will eventually be released back to your reg OBGYN.

Your RE doesn't have to be affiliated with your regular OB.
Honestly, everyone is going to recommend the RE that got them pregnant or whomever they are currently seeing. It all depends on the level of IF and other factors such as age, MF, etc. My advice to you is to make a couple of appointments for consultations with different RE's and see who you "click" with the best.
Also, check the ART reports for different clinics. Link to reports
That being said, I see Dr. Kenigsberg of LI-IVF and love him. He is very honest, not a hand-holding type of guy, but will tell you directly what is going on.

I see Dr. Flisser at RMA of New York and have been very happy so far. I go to their Manhattan office, but they also have an office in Garden City. However, I think that if you need any monitoring, etc. on the weekends, you have to go to the Manhattan office.

I am also a patient at LI IVF and Dr. Brenner is my RE. I highly recommend LI IVF. I have been very happy with the entire staff.

Dr. Goldschlag he now works out of a satellite office in Garden City and his other office is in the city at Cornell
