stuck in L&D and can't go home (UPDATE #2)
UPDATE 2: I'm home!!! I got the second shot of steroids and my FFN thankfully came back negative. I'm still contracting, but not enough that I need to stay. They wouldn't give me mag sulfate because of the side effects. I'm on Procardia instead and modified bedrest from now until I deliver. No more work for me and no more lifting and chasing DS. The nurses and doctors at South Nassau were wonderful as usual, and a few of them remembered me from having DS there last year! The number of women screaming in L&D despite getting their epidurals did make me nervous though

UPDATE: Still in L&D and I got steroids for the baby's lungs. I was contracting all night so they won't transfer me to antepartum yet...ugh. I wish I could see DS...it's hard not being around him! Thanks for the well wishes!

I came to get checked out for a spotting issue this morning and instead they're keeping me at a minimum of 24-48 hours because I won't stop contracting even with the meds  I hope they'll stop soon...30 weeks is too soon for my little girl to be born!
I had a similar issue with DS, but the terb pills worked then. I'm not sure what they're going to do with me.

 I hope your little one is able to stay inside a little longer. Did they give you the shot to help with the lung development?

Do they have you on magnesium sulfate? This happened to me last pregnancy, I went in at 30 1/2 weeks and it took them awhile to calm down the contractions. I was on the magnesium sulfate (yuck) and got the steroid shots. I was sent home on terbutaline (pump) and went another 6 weeks. Wishing you all the best!!
