Toddler sleeping under bed
My 2 year old had been sleeeping under his toddler bed. I am so worried that some type of freak accident will occur while he does that. Should I take the bed frame out and let him sleep on the crib mattress alone? He also like to sleep on the floor. We will be getting him a twin mattress in a few months(not an option now at all). Am I overeacting and should I just let him be?

Not quite the same thing but I have an older autistic child who did this and I took the bed apart and now he sleeps on a mattress on th floor. It made me too nervous :(. I don’t think you are over reacting!

I’d put the mattress on the floor.
Under a bed is not a safe sleeping space, and while he will likely be fine, I wouldn’t take any chances when it can be remedied with little effort.

I would definitely put the mattress on the floor. Id be too worried of the "what ifs." . But admittedly, I'm very paranoid with this kind of stuff.

Re: Toddler sleeping under bed
Would one of those bed tents work for him? Maybe he would like the closed off secluded feel of it?
