Disney ticket question
We are going to Disney in April and not staying on property. Do you only get the bracelets if you stay on property?

Last time we went to Disney they JUST started the bracelets and noone had them except a few select. I got our tickets at the Disney Store.

You only get magic bands if you stay onsite. You can buy them though.

Since you are staying off site, the only thing they will link to is your park tickets. It makes it easier so you don't have to pull out your tickets to get into the parks or if you have any fast passes, but that's it.
Prices range from $12.99 for basic colors to up to $50 for limited edition, special character bands.

It might be worth it to get the basic ones. It’s nice to not have to worry about getting your plastic tickets out to go into the parks, or for any fast passes you set up... AND if you plan on getting the Memory Maker picture package, they can just scan your band vs. you having dig around to get the plastic cards out whenever you get a picture taken...

We stayed offsite and got the basic ones. It was easier with the photo thing and fast passes.

We bought them. If you have any from a prior trip, they might still work. I like not having to keep track of the card. It will just work for park admission, fast passes, photos and ride photos.

We never got them.
The cards were really easy to use & I did everything on my phone (for fast passes).
No additional benefits to the bands... and that’s with 3 small kids!
