Disney ticket question
We are going to Disney in August for DS' first birthday and will be staying off property in a condo. We would like to purchase park tickets prior to getting to Disney. We do not plan on using park hopper tickets as we will be traveling with a 2.5 year old, 1.5 year old, and 1 year old...planning on one park per day. Are there any discount ticket sites anyone can suggest? I found tickets on Undercover Tourist that saved you taxes. Has anyone used this site? Thanks!

Re: Disney ticket question
If we're not getting an annual pass, we always buy from Undercover Tourist. It's a Disney-authorized ticket reseller. We've never had an issue.

Re: Disney ticket question
I would use undercover tourist. They seem to have the best deals. If you sign up for the mousesavers newsletter you can get additional discounts. The only catch is that ticket prices maybe going up very soon (in June). The newsletter doesn't go out until the 15 th I don't think. If you wait until then you run the risk that the prices might go up before then. They just went up a lot I think for the disneyland tickets (I forget where I read it but maybe as much as 35%).
As far as whether you should get a park hopper or not. That is a very personal decision. I love the park hopper and couldn't imagine going without it. But we eat dinners in the park - so we do say a morning in AK or HS (we only do 1/2 days there) and then go to MK or EPCOT at night for dinner and some rides. While I like AK and have mixed feelings about HS with young kids I never spend a whole day there and so without the hopper I would be paying for 2 1/2 days rather than 2 full days. Also if you plan to take breaks remember AK closes very early depending on the time of the year and much earlier than the other parks so it is hard to go back to your hotel and then return later for that park. Whereas the other parks are open later into the evening. Although you do save money if you don't have the hopper - it is nice if you go for a week because you can go back to one park if you missed some things you wanted to do but don't have to waste a whole second day at that one park. I personally think it is easier to drop the park hopper option when you have older kids or are adults because you tend to spend the entire day in the park rather than go back to the hotel and relax for a bit. Although DH and I always took an afternoon break and swam and showered before heading back to the parks for the evening.

Re: Disney ticket question
Undercover Tourist is about the only reseller I would trust/recommend. you can sometimes get a few extra bucks off through mousesavers. If you're staying on property, I'd say don't buy through them unless you're sure a package won't benefit you, but off property, there's no real reason not to.
Have a great trip!
