Queens jury duty- pumping mothers

I got a jury duty summons for Queens county. I already postponed it once (while I was on maternity leave and my DD was only 2-3 months old). In case I have to go in, does anyone know what the accomodations are for pumping mothers? I emailed them and haven't heard back.

If you show up with your pump and tell them you need to be excused every X hours for 30 minutes to pump, they are required to reasonable accommodate you. However, since that will likely be an inconvenience they will probably dismiss you.

Agreed, they are legally required to provide a room for you. I'm pretty sure they have a designated room for it.

This is true, they will provide accommodations. But do not expect to be dismissed. I was called for jury duty while nursing and I was told that the jury hours are short enough that I would have plenty of time to pump. I sat on a jury.

ETA: I never used the room they provided. I pumped in my car.

How short where the jury hours? I need to pump every 3 hours.

I had grand jury and got a break probably every 2 hours or so. The lawyer would frequently ask if we needed breaks. I would assume since you need to pump, you will be quickly dismissed.

I don't remember exactly, but never more than 3 hours. I was pumping every 3 hours as well.
