He has an iphone that has a thumbprint code. So.i obviously can't get into it unless I use his thumb. Lol.
You can. Just press it, it doesn't recognize your thumb and it gives you the option of using the passcode instead
We all have passcodes. I didn't but then one of my attorneys at work used to take pics on my phone and change things, so I put one on. My BF has an iPhone X so it has face recognition and the passcode
Even my son has a passcode on his phone

Yeah I guess I have seen him use the code as well. I just couldn't care enough about anything in his phone to go look to be honest.

yes we have passcodes for phone and whatever else. we dont use them but we have the same one. My ex and I did not and well, lets just say that was one of many issues.

we both have passcodes, to keep the kids out and because I need one for work. I can't remember DH's code (and I doubt he can remember mine) but, we don't hide it from each other.

he has a swipe code and I know the swipe and i have a # code and he knows the #. rarely do we need to get on each others phones, unless its to take pictures off of it from something or one of us is driving and needs something off of it.

He knows my passcode and I can never remember his - so I have my fingerprint programmed into his phone to unlock it.

i don't think his needs one- he has a samsung phone i have no idea how to use it, mine has a code DH doesnt know the code, my DS does....

We know each others codes and will grab and use each other's phones if one is closer to us. We have nothing to hide so neither of us feels a need to lockdown our phones.from each other.

We both have passcode bc we have work emails in our phone (the email would not load if the phone doesn’t have a passcode). I know his because it’s the same one he use for everything i don’t know if h knows mine but It’s not that i hide it when i am entering

soooo if you really wanted to you could add more than just one fingerprint

Also, we had a thumbprint on our previous phones (now we have face recognition) but it still gives you the option to enter a code.

True but to be honest I really have no desire to get into his phone. If I need something in there I will ask him.
And there really isn't ever anything in there I need to access.

Unless my DH or I had sensitive info (like government, classified, highly confidential) I would find it VERY suspect that I would not be allowed to have the code.
A dear friends D/H does government contracting stuff (A la "I can tell you but I would have to kill you) so she does not have his code. His job would not konw, but then again its not worth loosing his job.

My DH has to change the passcode on his phone monthly bc it’s a work phone and they make him, so he put my fingerprint on his so I can still read his texts or emails for him while he’s driving sometimes. He knows my passcode and it’s possible he has his thumbprint in mine as well, I can’t remmeber.

DH has one on his phone, but I know it. I don't have one on my phone. I personally would not be comfortable if I didn't know his passcode.
