How Much Do You Spend on Yourself Each Month?

I'm now a sahm and spend $80 on hair every 6 weeks. That's my splurge. I'm pregnant and am rewearing most of my stuff from dd. I realized I was spending ridiculous amounts on clothes for dd now I've cut back because she doesn't need anything. Our big spend is takeout and I hate it. I cook a lot but we are always spending money on food.

Definitely too much but I budget at least $500 a month on my Mint app for Personal items that range from Nails/Hair/Waxing and Lunch (I buy breakfast on office days, and usually grab lunch outdoors on court days so thats at least $ 50-100 a week). I am not a big coffee drinker so no daily Starbucks/DD runs for me- its usually the morning egg sandwiches/omelettes that do me in re: weekly food budget.

I shop for clothes/shoes in spurts or beginning of each season- sometimes blowing $100 here and there on HauteLook or RueLaLa, sometimes Macys.com. I really avoid opening up those apps because I buy crap I don't need and either return it because I changed my mind or it doesn't fit well. I rarely buy anything in stores or the mall.

I only go to Target/Walmart/CVS/Walgreens if I need something specific (prescriptions, cotton balls, etc) and try to limit myself to $50 or less since impulse purchases are so easy to do at these stores.

I get my hair (roots) done every 7-8 weeks (my hairstylist charges $ 70-90 for single process). Waxing and Nails are at least $30 or 40/month but some months I do my nails at home if I don't have time to get a mani. I only get pedicures in the summer and usually only 1x/month. I drive a small car - 4 cylinder so gas runs me about $100-120/month (and my job reimburses me for travelling to court so its probably less than that).

Its just DH and me (no kids, no large pets) so the majority of disposable income really goes to groceries, entertainment/vacations, and housewares/Home improvement. I feel like I should open a tab at Home Depot given how often we are there.

I spend $65 every other week on mani/pedi. About $10 a month for eyebrows and $60 for waxing every 6 weeks (honestly I skip that all the time though). I get my hair cut maybe twice a year and since having DD I rarely buy clothes because I'm almost always shopping for her. If I see something I like for myself I just buy it I don't really think twice. I'm not exactly shopping at Gucci, I'm talking a dress or 2 at Loft.

I spend maybe $10 a day on lunch/coffee. I don't really count that as money I spend "on myself" because I need to eat.

If DH ever questioned my spending habits he'd get a nice big middle finger. I work my tail off at a job I absolutely despise.

Well my Amex bill for last month was 4k.... so...... too much. Way too much.. oh well!

We take out $200 a week. $50 for me, $50 for DH and $100 for groceries. We spend it on whatever we want - coffee, lunch, grooming etc.

Bigger purchases likes clothes, shoes, etc. we buy whenever we need. But we usually end up with 2 big purchases each a year so we probably spend $500 a year on clothes. And that's it. We're pretty frugal.

I was going to say I had no idea, but probably too much. But as I read everyone's responses, I guess I really don't spend any specific amount on myself monthly.

I used to have a trainer that cost me $80 a week, but I don't do that anymore.

Every single month:
Gym: $16 pm
WW app: $15 pm avg
Nails: $35 pm (i go once)

I do spend $ on myself when there's a sale at kohl's or if I'm going into macy's, I'll check out any new styles. I don't actually budget any of it. But try to only buy when it makes no sense not to because of the prices.

DH doesn't have monthly expenses for himself but he does have hobbies and he buys whatever/whenever. I have gotten him into the habit to look for sales now, so that helps with spending.

When it comes to eating out - DH and I spend together a small mortgage payment every month. Honestly, it's disgusting. With him working 6 days a week, we have that one night to go out and do whatever we want. It usually involves a great meal and drinks.

It varies. I bring lunch and breakfast to work most days, so generally nothing there. But on the weeks I decide to get lunch it's no more than $10/week. I don't get my nails or brows done. I get my hair trimmed and highlighted twice per year and each time it's about $160. My only real monthly expenses for myself is Stitch Fix which I just started this past month because frankly I rarely buy myself clothes and my wardrobe was looking very sad. So, that's $20/month + whatever I decide to buy from each fix. The clothes are expensive, but I don't spend money on much else for myself so I feel like I deserve it.

My one extravagance is eyelash extensions- $80/mo; I love the way they look
Nails are once a month or so at $30
I only get my haircut 3X a year $50

outside of necessities, almost nothing. A cup of coffee a few times a month. My hair every 7-8 weeks, nails maybe 3 times a year if that much and only during the summer the months. Once in a blue I buy lunch at work, people are always shocked lol

I force myself to replace makeup like last week.

It varies. I have lulls where I don't spend much at all but then I'll spend a lot on a huge splurge here and there. I'm a SAHM and my DH has never said anything, so I guess it's all good until he says something.
