Menu week of Jan 3rd
s/o to my lack of motivation thread..
I need a better plan in 2017 to organize my kids' dinners. If I can prep ahead, it'll be easier when I get home from work. And I also need some inspiration from you ladies.
anyone want to share their weekly menu (kids version of that in the dining board)
Mon: Not sure - might get leftovers from New Year's Tues: Create your own pizzas Wed: Spaghetti w broccoli florets Thurs: Chicken cutlets (I made a batch and froze them) w corn on the side Fri: Might take them out
Can you share yours?

I'll share mine once I figure it out. DS eats whatever we eat so it's not necessarily a kids version. Also I prep everything on Sunday for the week. Otherwise, we'd have pasta every night.

You can also try ground chicken. I find turkey has a little odd flavor I don't enjoy but chicken doesn't have that.

Yes ground turkey tastes nasty. And the stench of it cooking makes me gag. Can't stand it. Ground chicken is way more palatable. Although if you get 93 percent lean ground beef it's even leaner than either and you don't sacrifice taste. Some ground turkey is loaded with fat.

Menu week of Jan 3rd
I haven't done anything for next week but can share this week. DD generally eats what we do unless it's something super spicy or we get greasy takeout (which happens at least once a week cause we're pigs).
Sunday/Christmas: she ate literally everything and more than I did Monday: Leftover turkey and mashed cauliflower Tuesday: Broccoli mac n cheese Wednesday: Chicken meatballs, fresh mozzarella Thursday: Chicken souvlaki with pita and tzatziki Friday: We're having chili (and haven't had it yet) so she had quinoa with spinach and carrots, applesauce, cheese and crackers, HappyBaby cookies Saturday: Pesto salmon, gnocchi, veggies
