3rd week of the cold

I took dd back to the dr and STILL they cant do anything. Her cough is horrendous but they say her lungs are clear. Any advice on how to get rid of this?

Is she congested? maybe bring her in the bathroom with the hot shower running? My doctor told me to give DD her bottle in a steamy bathroom. I also keep her room cool, use the cool mist humidifer and nasal drops so she sneezes out the mucus.
