What potty do you like for your toddler?
I want to have one in the bathroom out for her to see. She's not ready yet, but I want it there for her to get used to.
TIA

We have the fp froggy potty. It was helpful during training but my girls both mainly used the big potty right away. I do like that's it's simple and lightweight so we usually keep it in the car now for emergencies or road trips.

We have the one that goes on the regular toilet...saves us the trouble of cleaning up and also we have a small bathroom so space is an issue
toilet seat

Just get a potty ring. There's no cleanup and then one less transition to teaching her to go on the actual toilet.

I agree with this but I also did get a travel potty and had to use that for DD at first she did transitioned over easily.
The one I got uses zip lock bags so cleanup is very easy.

Agree with all of this. I think a separate potty causes confusion and the thought of cleaning one out makes me

Re: What potty do you like for your toddler?
Thanks for the advice on the seat one
Once she's ready, maybe I'll get a small one for the car for emergencies.

The Summer infant one, basic and cheap $9 on amazon. Good for little ones just learning. When older then the one that is built into regular toilet seat. For the car, the potette.

Re: What potty do you like for your toddler?
A very basic one. Both learned at 2 and we were glad to move it to the room they were in for learning.
Kids were scared to go on toilet and it was too high for them to get up on by themselves (yes, DS was fully independently potty going by 2.5 and wiping before 3 of poop).

I let her pick out her own potty. It made her excited to go. It's a 3 in 1 Minnie Mouse potty. She never had an issue going in between that and the regular toilet. I like having the separate one because at home, she can go on her own.

Re: What potty do you like for your toddler?
Summer Infant brand. I have boys and it has a high pee gaurd in front so they don't end up peeing outside of the potty. Even though he's fully trained now, we keep it in our trunk at all times for when we go out. I will probably buy a second one for the house when ds2 is ready to train. It's cheap enough... 10 bucks I think.

Totally agree! The little potty was great- I could keep it close by, she could use it independently, never had to "retrain" her to use the regular toilet. We had a very simple fisher price potty- looked like a ladybug- I also let her pick it out.

Re: What potty do you like for your toddler?
We had/have three different types. The Potette travel potty is good in the car when you're on the go.
Then, the toilet seat ring by Baby Bjorn mostly. But I also liked having the regular separate little potty (also baby bjorn brand) for when they are first learning and are little, and for pee practice. I'd never ever let them poop in there though, because clean up would be super nasty.
