Bottle nipples

DD is 3 months old and she is currently using a level 1 nipple during the day when she isn't BF. I've read that going to level 2 nipples might not be a good idea because she may be frustrated when nursing because she can't get milk as quickly as she can with the bottle. If you've been in this situation, what's your opinion?

Dd2 is ebf but I also pump and give bottles. At 3 months I switched to level 2. I didn't switch again at 6 or 9 months. At 10 1/2 months she went on a nursing strike for 5 days. I was distraught and so sad. I switched back to the level 1 nipples just in case she began to favor the pumped milk bottles. The nursing strike thankfully ended and I'm keeping her on level 1!

Edited to add; I think the nursing strike had more to do with teething pain and being easily distracted at that age but I wasn't going to add to the reasons why she didn't want to nurse

I think I switched from level 1 to level 2 around 9 months when dd self weaned. I would not increase bottle nipple size if you are going to continue to nurse.
