Ahhh the little things that make me happy....
Went to DD this morning and drank a nice hot cup of coffee and ate a donut by myself...that's right with NO KIDS and it felt great!!!

Ahhh the little things that make me happy....
About a year ago I had to get a battery replacement in my car. I took it in and then walked around to the diner and ate breakfast alone. I texted DH and told him the car was going to take about a half hour longer than it did. No regrets. It was lovely. Lol

Ahhh the little things that make me happy....
I took a trip to CVS by myself last weekend. I had to get a handful of things. It should've taken about 15 minutes. I took about an hour and a half. It was pure bliss. Lol.

I went to Target by myself on Thursday! I had been waiting literally weeks to go. I got an iced coffee from Starbucks, walked around, shopped. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs! DH was like what could you do there for so long?! I told him I could've spent even more time there! Lol

Love it!!!
Dr can't understand why I find grocery shopping with a4 year old and 7 month old difficult. Dude... To get 3 things takes an hour. By myself, 5 minutes.

Ahhh the little things that make me happy....
I usually work Mon-Fri but I had a random Tuesday off last week because I had to work the previous weekend. Soooo, I could have kept DD home from daycare. But, did I? Noooooo. Off she went, from 9-3pm (I did pick her up a bit early). I went to crossfit, grocery shopped by myself, folded laundry while enjoying mindless afternoon tv, and even got a manicure. AND, I even made an extra special dinner for the family because I had time to prep items I usually wouldn't be able to.
It....was....amazing. Best day EVA!

Taking as long as I want when I take a nice, warm shower...without a toddler screaming "mommy, mommy" or having the curtain opened suddenly and all the way, or a baby crying, or hearing DH screaming "baby's hungry...again"

My DH drops our son at daycare at 8:15. I don't need to leave for work until 8:35 so I have 20 glorious minutes to sit quietly with a cup of hot coffee and watch the news.
