Little things make me happy....
We used to be super strict with Lily's bedtime because she was a great sleeper when we kept to the schedule, but if we stayed out too late, it was a mess! So we learned quickly to be strict.
Tonight, we had to go out for my dad's 60th birthday dinner...and we didn't leave until close to 9....and Lily is usually in bed at 8....so I was terrified.
But she did great!!! She was a joy at the restaurant...even after her bedtime. And she had her bath and went to bed with no problems! Fell asleep right away...even after a massive sugar binge right before we left!
I'm so excited now. This means we might be able to have a life again!!!

I sooooo know how you feel. Jack would be in bed by 6:30 every night - and if it was a minute later he was a nightmare.
Now, he goes to bed at 7:30 and has been kept up as late as after 10 around the holidays...and was a complete angel! It was so nice!
