Do you give your neighbors Christmas gifts?
We've had like 10+ neighbors come by this week to give us gifts. I ran out and bought some cakes to hand out to our immediate neighbors. Then other people started coming and bringing my children actual gifts (pokemon cards, puzzles, books, etc). We had nothing prepared so DH started handing out bottles of wine. I didn't even have these people on my Christmas card list and had no cards to even give them.
Is this normal to give neighbors gifts?
I am most surprised at the Pokémon gift tins. They cost like $30 and we have 2 kids. That is a $60 gift to a neighbor. I barely got Christmas shopping done for my immediate family and close friends. I will plan to get neighbor gifts next year.

Yes, we do. There are 5 houses on our block and we exchange with all except the one that was just rented out 2 months ago. We've all lived here for 16+ years though.

All my neighbors are mutants except for the couple upstairs that we adore. We don't exchange gifts though.

We have about 5 neighbors on the block who we are close with. We don't buy them gifts, but do buy gifts for their dogs. A bag of treats, you and a couple bones. They all bring us stuff as well. Either for our dogs or for us.
If I've been baking, I'll bring some treats for them too!
We have a great block

I make some sort of handmade gift for about 6 neighbors that we are friendly with. Its usually some mix in a jar, hot cocoa and chocolate lollipops I make.
My immediate neighbor who is really good to my DS, I get them usually a restaurant gift card.

To our immediate neighbors, yes because they take care of our driveway and sidewalk during snowstorms when they see us not home yet. Everyone else, probably not. We don't converse with anyone else besides a quick hello
