Opinions on party favors
My son's 4th birthday party is this Saturday. He wants to have an Avengers theme. There will be boys and girls at the party. He really wants to do Avengers themed favors/goodie bags as well. Do you think the girls, in general, would be ok with that? Or is it better to do a different theme for the girls' goodie bags? In the past, he's always chosen a theme that was not so typically gender oriented, so I never had to worry about it before!

It's totally okay to do all avengers! My neice is into the avengers so her whole party was that theme including the goodie bags. My dd didn't care!

I think it's fine as well. I personally like my daughter exposed to various characters and themes with things and not just girly stuff!

I agree completely! I don't like pigeon holing either gender into toys/themes/characters they should be into. Kids should be exposed to everything. I just know that, generally speaking, superheroes are more of a boy thing and I didn't want to have a bunch of disappointed girls going home with a favor they don't like haha. I think I'll go ahead with it thoigh. Thanks for the input everyone!

Opinions on party favors
Totally fine! My daughter plays with tools and tool benches. Loves it so much she asked for 1 for xmas. Along with a princess castle. I always let her play with anything she wants. She would rather tools and race cars then playing dress up
