Re: Adventure question

Do you have any idea if your 2 year old likes rides? My school has an adventure land night every year, and some of my colleagues' 2 year olds rode everything, while others (including mine) were terrified. Maybe buy just enough tickets to go on one ride - that should give you a good gauge of your dc's interest level, and then go back and get the band.

The 4 year olds will be fine on their own for the most part if you stick to the kiddie rides. The 2 year old - may go on with them, may need you there (again, it depends on the child).

Re: Adventureland question

We took my 6 and 2 year old last month. I got a pop for me and my 6 y/o. My 2 y/o only went on the kiddie area rides and they never checked or asked for tickets for her. I would only get a pop for an adult if the 4 y/o needed someone to go no with him. Check the website for the height requirements to see if there are a lot of rides he can't do by himself.

Re: Adventureland question

Do the kids like rides? Then yes, def bracelets b/c they would go on about 8 rides in tickets to equal a bracelet. Some of those rides they can go on alone, but a few you would go on too. So we usually do tickets for adults and bracelets for kids.

Re: Adventureland question

At 2, it's a tough call & kid dependent.

Personally, I get a few tickets for my kids & tell them how many rides to pick (they are 3 & 4). 3-4 rides each are enough. If I were solo with a 2 year old, I'd do this too (esp because depending on your kid, there are rides you will not be able to accompany him on).

Ticket prices have gone up a lot this year & so have the bracelets. Tough to figure out what is the "right" way.

ita w/everyone. My girls are 2, and when we went to Sesame Place they loved the rides (shocking) so MIL and FIL took them to adventureland... they even loved going on the rollercoaster with them! I think they felt safe w/gma and gpa Chat Icon

Re: Adventureland question

I toke my 2 year old and he went on a bunch of rides with his POP bracelet. I also had a bracelet and went on rides with him if he was nervous to go by himself.

Re: Adventureland question

We usually get my 2 year old a bracelet and tickets for us. Some rides she does by herself (no adults allowed) and some rides one of us goes on with her. Some of the rides don't take tickets from the accompanying adult.
The rides DD goes on are 3 tickets ($4.50) and the pop is 28.99 (or 26.99 with $2 coupon). If you have any extra tickets, you can use them next time (we were even able to use some from the prior year).

I'm signed up for emails. They might send it right away when you sign up, but I'm pretty sure you need to print them.
