Is it ok to regift this for a 1st birthday gift?
A mom from my mom's group invited us to her twin's 1st birthday party. I have met the mom a handful of times and I like her. I have known her for about 3 months.
I won a $100 gift card to My Gym at a raffle. I loved My Gym when my kids were younger but now they are 4 and 6. My Gym is close to her home and I sincerely think she would enjoy taking her twins to My Gym.
Is it ok to give this to her as a gift?
I don't think that I would spend $100 on a gift as I have only seen her like 5x and we have never hung out solo.
Should I put this $100 gift card in the card and get the twins something else?

I think it is fine - better off someone getting use out of it than going to waste

The only issue with giving the gift card as a gift is signing up for my gym costs a lot more than $100 especially for twins-- the only way the gift can be used is if the mom chooses to pay the difference.

Or she could use it towards a 2nd birthday party there

I think that is OK. But maybe add a book or something small but tangible they can use right away since as PP's mentioned, they might not make use of the gift card either.

my "my gym" has a section of melissa and doug stuff you can purchase (placemats, crayons, puzzles, good selection). I would buy a bunch of stuff there with the gift card and use that for the gifts.

I would not. It is like giving a coupon to macys. I would offer it to her as do you want this, but not in context of it as an actual gift.
