How much for a 1st birthday gift?
If you had a 2nd birthday party to go to and it was for a friend (not a close friend) child, would $25 be appropriate for a gift? Our coworkers are discussing this and we wanted the experts advice 
I say it is fine for a 2 yr old.

I think that's a nice gift. You can get a nice toy or outfit for that much.

Yup. I usually spend about $25/$30 for a child's birthday present. More if it's a first birthday (I usually give a bond) or a baby naming/Bris.
