Whole Milk and Poop TMI
We just started my daughter on whole milk this week. We are still doing 4ozs whole milk/2 ounces formula and she has been drinking it just fine. She also eats various foods during the day. Her poop has been a yellowish mustard color. Varying from hard and soft but always yellowish now. Is this normal? Does this mean a dairy allergy? Is it just her body adjusting? I wasn't sure if I should call the ped. Thanks!

Whole Milk and Poop TMI
DD's poops were all over the map when we started transitioning to whole milk. Different colors, consistencies, one day constipated beyond belief, next day very loose. It took about a month for it to stop changing so much. We were concerned so we called the ped and she said to give it about a month after completely transitioning to regulate and she did.

Re: Whole Milk and Poop TMI
I was going to the same as above. Their poop changes all the time, especially when transitioning to whole milk.
If she had a dairy allergy she would have reacted to the formula as it contains dairy, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Never hesitate to call your ped if you're unsure.

I think they just need time to adjust.
