advice w/ schedule for Christening Day - naps

My twins will be 6.5 months. The christening is at 1pm - we need to leave house by 12:30/12:40. Then we have a luncheon and baby naming until about 4/4:30. Right now - they nap well at 11:30/12 - 1:30. So... do I get them dressed in christening outfits and nap them in them in cribs? I'd still have to wake them early. OR try to nap them a little early that day and then rush to dress right before we leave (again waking them)? OR dress them and leave in car earlier and let them sleep in car? Problem is I also have my 5 year old and family too with us. I just can't think straight to figure it out. As it is - I know they will just be off entire day b/c its just a crazy day.

I wouldn't even try to plan it. Just go with it and if you have to wake them to get them dressed then go with it. You will make yourself trying to plan it.

it's one day. their naps will be off. I would get ready according to the schedule you need to follow and im sure they will sleep in the car and/or even in the church. and bring the stroller in to the lunch and they can pass out in the stroller.

I wouldn't stress. It's one day

I would give them their normal nap and wake 10 mins before you have to leave dress and put in car seats and hope they fall back to sleep. If they don't no biggie but I would want to get at least some kind of nap in before. They can always nap after in their car seats or strollers.
