summer infant activity seat- when do you stop using?

I'm looking for a seat for my LO who can't sit unassisted yet, but is trying to get out of the Rock'n play. The summer infant activity seat looks fun and converts to a booster and says the activity seat can be used until walking. Do you use these after baby can sit, or will they tip it over?

ETA - this is the seat that looks like a bumbo with a toy tray.

You can use it as a chair, so long as they still fit in it.

Yea i used it for a few months with my dd. She loved it!

I still use it with my 8 month old when I want to keep him contained and prevent him from crawling all over. It's great as a booster seat, we've been using it for months.

We used it until ds was 11 or 12 months old, after this time even though he wasn't walking yet, he would get cranky after a few minutes in it, he wanted to feel free I guess & would get bored, also he started to crawl & didn't want to be stuck in one place. I'd definitely use it as a high chair though, haven't had the opportunity to do this yet but I would.

i put my 20 month old in it when i need to shower. I buckle her in and put on her show. She fits perfectly. We also use it as a booster if we are going to a party where they might not have high chairs.
