bibs...what age do they stop using them?
does a 2 year old still use bibs? just wondering - its a gift for my nephew

Yep - depending on the food, we still do in my house! DS is still pretty messy when it comes to sticky things (like jelly) or foods with sauce.

DS is 14 months and just now are we starting to let him go without one from time to time...
he is a major drooler when he has his paci in his mouth and eating  messy messy kid

DS is going on 16m, and I can't imagine him without a bib at 2y. He's learning to use a fork, and he drops a lot of food on himself. It used to all just end up in his lap, but I use this bib it basically has a built in bown to catch al lthe falling stuff and it works great for us. When he has yogurt he still wears a bumpkins bib
But, those cloth bibs are of no use to us anymore.

Depends on the child. My DS would rip his bib off by the time he was 13-14 months. Bibs had a really short shelf life in my house-haha!

DS is 22m and still uses a bib. He knows that he has to wear it if he wants to sit at the table, so he usually rips it off when he is done.

My DD is almost 3 and I still use a bib for certain foods like pasta. I would hate to have her ruin her pretty clothes by spilling food on them.

In my own point of view, as long your child is not messy or it's lesser than the past months or years and if you think your child know what's clean and not at her young age I think that's the right time not to wear them a baby bibs all along. Like my baby, I stop using baby bibs when she reach 3 years old. The secret to that is always observe your baby's behavior especially in mealtime. It only depends on you and to your baby. I think 2 or 3 years old is the best age to stop using baby bibs.

At home at about 11 months. At daycare she still uses them. She won't wear bibs at home, she rips them off.

bibs...what age do they stop using them?
DD is almost 3 and we haven't used bibs since she was 1.5 I think. If I know she's going to get messy with a certain food, I'll stuff a napkin in the front of her shirt as a bib lol.
