at what age did you stop sterilizing.....
bottles and pacis??? should i continue to do it as long as he is using a bottle 1 year and do you have to sterilize the pacifiers for as long as they are used? it has become such a habit now my ds is 7 months old

I just put mine in the dish washer every night, however if you do not have a dish washer my ped told me I could stop after 3mos.

I still steralize- I hate running my dishwasher every night and this is so much quicker. DD is 9 months and I'm so used to it already. I have a plug-in steralizer that I love.

I never really sterilized other than before the first use. I would wash the bottles in hot soapy water or throw them in the dishwasher.

I just wash them with soap and water. One ped I talked to said it was fine.

I hand washed and sterlized until she was 6 months old. Then I started using the dishwasher.

I never sterlized. Only when they came out of the package. I just wash in hot soapy water. I do boil the pacis once in a while.

I only sterilized DD's pacifiers and bottle nipples when they were first out of the package.
Other than that, I never sterilized any of DD's bottles (she never took to the pacifier.)
