What age did you stop using onesies ?
Just curious, Katie had such a light summer outfit on but it looked sooo uncomfortable without a onesie - the diaper came loose and her pants were falling down belly sticking out - but it was too hot for a onesies to go under it !

I still have to use one for Andy (11 months) since he'll scratch himself until he bleeds otherwise.

I don't really go by age, but by the weather. When Marron was an infant last summer (she was born in April), on hot days when we were outside I didn't put a onesie on her, but if we were going to be in a/c where I thought she would be cold I put one on her. Now that she is a year old, I haven't put one on her since the weather got warm, but once it gets cool again in the fall, she will wear them again.

Same here. My rule is if the temp is over 60 degrees-no onsie, under 60 degrees a onsie. I have a hot baby too, we always check the back of her neck, or trunk to see if she's warm/sweating.

I have a friend whose son is 2 and she still puts a onsie on hi, so I dont think there is an age limit.

Nate is 2 yrs old and I still use them depending on the outfit and the weather. I will probably stop soon bc of potty training. I will miss them bc I hate to see a kid's bare back when the clothes ride up.

I know, I hate that now, plus when picking up the boys, I feel like a regular shirt makes them harder to pick up because they slip out of my hands...does that make sense??

yeS, Diane - that is what happens to me and her diaper is always loose, I hate to make it tight!
Just yesterday's outfit was so thin and it was so warm out a onesie just didn't work.

Same here...we still use onesies on certain days when it isn't hot (like today)
Bella is still in the Carter's 18 month onesies and we have some 24 month ones...so we will use those and when she grows out of that we'll stop.

DS is 8 months and I still use them...I just feel like he is more comfortable with them on...Without them, his diapers are showing above the pants, his shirt rises up and his back is showing and YES Diane, I feel the same way about it being easier to hold them with one on!

I plan on using them until I can't find his size anymore or he is potty trained whatever comes first.
I don't use them in the summer unless it is really cool. I hate it that his shirt rises up and he could get a draft from the A/C on his back(god, I like sound like my grandmother  )

I go by the weather.
DS is almost 5 months.
If he has a 2 piece set on, no onesie.
Today, since its nasty out, I have him in a onesie and a pair of light pants.
