Diaper bags.... Where do you keep yours???
At least once a week I forget my diaper bag when I leave the house. In the past month I have had to buy diapers, wipes, spoons, baby food, and clothes... All which I will use, but don't really need.
What do you do to keep yourself from forgetting your diaper bag?
Or am I the only spaz???

Stays in the car. When they were small and I had to bring food I'd just load that up in a smaller bag and toss it into the diaper bag.

whenever I used a diaper bag that was also my purse, wallet was in there so I never forgot it, there was no way I was carrying a diaper bag and a pocketbook

Diaper bags.... Where do you keep yours???
We keep ours right under our coat hooks by the front door, where we keep all our shoes too. We are huge forgetters, and surprisingly, in our over 4 years as parents, have only forgotten the diaper bag a small handful of times!

Same. I switched to a small cross body diaper bag once DD was a little older (VB mom's day out) and use just that. It holds my wallet, phone, and chapstick for me and a few snacks and diapers changing supplies for DD.
It's worked out great until last week when I forgot to switch my wallet back in there from my purse. I didn't realize until I was all rung up at Target and had to go all the way home and back. One mess up in almost 2 years is not so bad though I guess.

Diaper bags.... Where do you keep yours???
If the weather is mild it stays in the car. All winter though it was in the house in the foyer right next to her car seat.

I keep it in the front coat closet.
I also keep a plastic container in the car with diapers wipes and a change of clothes for each kid just in case

I keep it wherever my purse is, which is supposed to be in the hall closet but usually ends up just sitting on a chair in the dining room Sometimes, depending on where we're going, I don't even bring a purse so my wallet, keys, makeup, etc are all in the diaper bag too, so I can't forget it that way.

DS is out of diapers now... but when he was still in them, I just carried one big bag that was my purse and his diaper bag altogether... no way would I be organized enough to have 2 bags HAHA
it had my keys in it, so I would never forget it  if you know anybody that sells those Thirty One bags... I use the CAsual Cargo purse. not the cutest bag.... but its not bad, and it was perfect for all his stuff, plus mine.... AND its machine washable, so if his cup spilled in it or whatever, I would just wash it. Then I had a smaller, cuter bag for when I went out without him LOL

On an accent chair in the living room or in the nursery. I restock it every day so I couldn't leave it in the car.

Same. Diaper bag stays near the door so I have to walk past it to leave anyway.

I leave ours by the front door and my purse/wallet is in it so its become "my bag" rather than the diaper bag. So I've only forgotten it once and that was on the way to swim lessons because i was already holding her swim bag, and a cooler for her lunch stuff and a bag for errands so I didn't even realize I didn't have the actual bag!

This! I bought a cute JuJuBe one that I wouldn't mind using as a purse when I'm with DD. Best decision!

we don't have a set place which of course means we often forget it at home too
we actually keep "mini kits" in each car with a diaper or two and a pack of wipes. I used to also have a spare outfit, pacifiers, burp cloths, tissues and a snack (granola bar or something) but don't really keep most of those in there anymore. The mini kits have saved us a few times so i'd definitely recommend them

DD's closet in her bedroom. I restock it with whatever we used as soon as we get home, so that it's ready to take on a moments notice. I actually have the full size one and a smaller one ready now that she's older.
If I repeatedly forget, I'd just keep a backup bag of stuff in my car with diapers, wipes, pacifiers, cup, spoons, straws, etc.

THIS exactly! LOL! It sits wherever my purse is. On the dining room chair usually!
