Kate Spade Diaper Bags - Not just for baby stuff?
Hi all!
I'm not a mommy yet but I need to purchase a shower gift for someone who is going to be a mommy.
I want to buy my friend a Kate Spade diaper bag. I know that they are really popular and sold out in a lot of places. My main concern before dropping $100+ on a diaper bag is if it's useful for things other than baby stuff?
I want my friend to be able to use the bag for everyday use after she's done with carrying baby stuff. Is it doable with these diaper bags? I don't want her feeling silly carrying it around if she's not using it as a diaper bag.

I think so. i have the kate spade messenger diaper bag and if I didn't have a baby I would definately use it as a everyday bag...

I have a messenger bag and while I grew out of it as a diaper bag I think it will be a great bag, especially to carry stuff on a plane like books, magazines, etc.

I don't have a Kate Spade DB, but I have a Coach buying it because I wanted to be able to use it without a purse now - or use as a tote when I don't need to carry a DB around anymore (when is that?  )

I had a Kate Spade Diaper Bag and I found it to be really stiff and large. I didn't really use it as a diaper bag but could use it as an everyday bag.

I don't use a purse anymore, just my kate spade diaper bag. i could definitely keep using it as a regular bag.

I use it for the beach and overnight stuff as well as diapers and toys!

I use my KS baby bag for everything. It doesn't look like a "diaper bag", IMO.
