Ikea hemnes dresser
We've just moved and are looking for two dressers for the girls' new rooms. I like the look of the hemnes 8-drawer dresser online from Ikea but have read that it's more off-white than white. The crib and bed that we have in the rooms are both white. Does anyone have the hemnes "white" dresser and use it with other white furniture? I'd rather not get my mind set, get there, and then realize it's not going to match the rest of the furniture. Thanks!

It might not be a perfect match up close but if the pieces arent butting up against e/o then i think it would be fine. It looks white to my eye.

I have one in my bedroom, it looks white, not off white. I have it paired with another white piece directly next to it.

Ikea hemnes dresser
I have the Hemnes 3 drawer and the Kallax shelving unit from IKEA - both in 'white'. I also had a white target bought toddler bed for a bit.. matched up fine.

Ikea hemnes dresser
We have had the 3 drawer, just bought the 6 drawer for my dd's room and we have the 8 draw in my twin boys room. They all look white.

We have it and have it paired with cribs. Doesn't bother me in the least.

I have one in DS nursery. It looks white to me and was shocked at how great the quality was compared to the price!

I was just at ikea on Tuesday to buy the same dressers for my dd's new room....just so you know they do not have the 8 drawer dresser in stock and they don't know when they are getting them because it's a new item...they changed the kind of white they are...I like them but it's now considered a white stain..it's definitly white but does have a different look than the old Hemnes dresser...you should go look at it before making a decision

We have it in DD's room. It is a tad bit off from her white crib but it isn't a major difference. It is a great dresser for the price and I would definitely recommend it. They only thing I didn't like were the black knobs but I replaced them with ones from etsy to match her room. We also have the night stand and are happy with it.

I bought the 6 drawer 2 weeks ago and it's the new white stain, while it is white it definitely looks a little different from the 8 draw lacquer finish I have in my boys room. But not different enough to make it a no go.
