Ikea Hemnes Dresser
Has anyone used or thought of using the Ikea Hemnes dresser in the nursery? It would need to double as a changer and Im not sure if it looks like a changing pad would fit or be safe on top of there. I love the look of the dresser and I love the price even more.

Re: Ikea Hemnes Dresser
I have this set in my bedroom ni think it's too high for a changing table. I love it and think it would be great in a nursery and it's big so they can grow into it but I'm short and think it would be to high for me to be changing on

I also have this dresser and I think it can be used as a changer however it is pretty tall. I am only 5'2" and I would not be comfortable changing a baby on it.

Re: Ikea Hemnes Dresser
Thanks! Im actually close to 5'9" so the height is a plus for me :)
I dont have a very large nursery to work with so this just seemed ideal to use it for both. I like the amount of drawers and the fact that it will grow with the child.

I have this in my bedroom.. Since you are tall, I think it would be totally fine with a changer. We have the drawers pretty stuffed and they are still okay - for now! I think it'll be just fine with baby clothes. I have seen a lot of nursery pics online using this dresser. I would google image it.. just so you can get a better idea

Re: Ikea Hemnes Dresser
I currently have this in my DS's nursery.
It is the dresser and used a changing table. I am 5'4 and I find the height perfect for me. I am not bent over at all and baby is closer to me.
For me this was the perfect purchase especially for the price.
I can try to post picture later if you want to see.

I have this dresser in my bedroom and think it would work. I am 5'5 and it doesn't really seem too tall for me.
