Stopping Pumping

So I think it's time to stop pumping. DD is 7 1/2 mos old and two months ago I introduced formula because I travel a lot for work (gone all week) and I knew I wouldn't be able to produce and pump enough to leave for her. She is doing great and seemlessly goes between formula and I bf too.

I am just really no longer producing much. I fed her from one breast at 4a and I just pumped at work at 2p and only got 3 1/2 ozs. I wasn't in any pain, just feeling a bit full.

So my question is if I stop pumping and am not with her to bf, am I going to totally lose my milk supply? I don't want to stop bf'ing altogether. I actually really love it and it's a comfort thing for her (hate the pumping though). She wouldn't sleep last night and she nursed and was asleep in 20 mins after hrs of trying to get her to bed.

I'm also traveling for work next week. So do I pump while away? Stop and take the chance that I can't bf at all? Gah, I don't know what to do. Would appreciate any advice, experiences. Thanks!

i do think your supply will continue to decrease if you go all day without pumping and only nurse once a night.

in terms of traveling for the week - if you want to continue you will need to pump. going an entire week without pumping will probably dry you up (not to mention can be painful!)
