Formula and stomach virus?
Ds still has diarrhea
He is 11 months
I think the formula makes it worse
Do you skip formula and stick with water and pedylite?
Eta: he doesn't have an appetite so he's not looking for it

Formula and stomach virus?
When my boys had stomach viruses (at 2 weeks and 11 weeks) we skipped formula and just kept them hydrated - they were vomitting and the formula made it worse.

Formula and stomach virus?
When dd had it on tues dr said skip formula and give pedialite. Once she was keeping that down we slowly introduced formula back.

Ds was just about 11 months when he had it. He would not drink the pedialyte or apple juice, he doesn't like them. He wanted and drank his formula so I gave it to him. Atleast I knew he was getting liquids some how.

one DR once recommned to me for DD simlac diharea formula but im pretty sure she wasnt drinking anything else
my main DR has told me just to give pedialtye and not formula before for a stomach virus so i dont see the big deal about skipping formula esp. at 11 months by next month you most likely be switching to milk anyway
