when to start overnight diapers?
just wondering... how old was your LO when you started using overnight diapers. TIA!

DD started peeing through around 11 mos. we tried overnights but they all gave her a rash. We now just double diaper her.

when to start overnight diapers?
We started using the overnight diapers when he started waking up wet consistently in the morning. Probably around 6 months I think. I know it was after he started solids because then he started sleeping 11-12 hours instead of 6-8 hours.

Around 10 weeks when she started sttn and would wake up soaking wet. We used pampers extra protection.

We haven't yet. Dd is almost 8 months and sleeps 11-12 hours. Pampers swaddlers have worked so far.

We started when DS was 4 months and he def wasn't STTN. By this point he was no longer pooping at night and changing his diaper in the middle of the night was too much of an ordeal (I wanted him to go back to sleep asap after nursing). He'd wake up wet sometimes so we decided to start with the overnights. We used these with DS1 and they've been working great with DS2 also. Huggies Overnights start at size 3 I believe. DS is a big boy (95th %ile weight) so we started with size 4.

When DD slept longer and would wake up in a puddle...we first tried diaper doublers (look like maxi pads) and our ped informed us (duh) that the overnight diapers essentially do just that...don't remember age, though..more sleeping milestone

We started early. I want to say probably about 2-3 months. He would wake up in the middle of the night with a FULL diaper. Changing him woke him up more so we switched to overnight diapers. MUCH BETTER!!!!!

We started when DS started sleeping on his belly, that is when the regular ones started leaking. That was at 5/6 months.

We've always just gone up a size if she seemed really full in the morning. We use Luvs. I never liked overnights.

We don't use them - very seldomly does DS 2 (almost 2) leak through. DS 1 was up so many times at night when he was in diapers we'd change him.

I used diaper doublers and now sized up for my one DD who pees through. No leaks with the bigger diapers so far.
