Sensitive Overnight Diapers? Or cloth??
Sasha seems to get a rash from every diaper out there, except for 7th Gen-- and she wears those exclusively.
I have tried a couple of different things for overnight-- going up a size, 2 diapers (size 4 on her, and 5 on top).. and I broke down and got Huggies Overnights. They seem to be working-- for the few nights I have used them, but she is starting to get a rash.
Last night I put a size 4 7G on her, and the Huggies over that-- and that so did not work.
What to do? Do I use cloth at night?? Are cloth diapers very absorbent for overnight?? Which ones to use??
HELP! She's not the greatest sleeper and I don't need a leaky diaper compromising her sleep!!

I use huggies pure and natural, I tried 7th gen, but these fit better for DS.
DS goes up a size in diapers normally. For overnight, I use another size up and just put a layer of cream (either lanolin based or zinc oxide based, or just plain Vaseline for protection) depending on whether he has a rash or not.
I love A&D zinc oxide, and I prefer to use the 100% lanolin cream that they make for breast. It has no odor and so safe and good for the skin. If his tushie has no rash in sight, I just put a layer of Vaseline just to protect it from overnight poopies.

I'd go with the cloth. We use bum genius diapers and put in one regular pad and two thinner pads and we rarely have leaks. I can't remember the last time their diapers leaked overnight.

So you can add more layers of protection in the diaper? i just checked out their site and i am not sure what i would get.

bum genius 3.0 one size have a pocket inside them - they usually come with two layers - right now my son is 9 months and a belly sleeper and we just use the two layers that come and we rarely have leaks - i have enough to go about 8 nights before i wash - but i use all cloth
diaperlab and cottonababies are two places where i get my cloth from and both are very helpful to talk to

Yes, they are pocket diapers, so you can put several pads in at a time. They get bulky, but its for sleeping, so it doesn't really matter.
