0 to 1, hands down a million times over.
The adjustment was much, much less going to two and then to three. However, don't get me started on my life after #3 turned 18 months or so...

They are different transitions. The transition for me from 0-1 was that it wasn't about us anymore and your life just becomes totally different. You have to adjust to a new normal. Once I got over that, things were fine because it's just one baby to focus on. Oh boy, going from 1-2 was a BIG wake-up call as far as what busy was!! I thought I was busy with 1 but now I look back wistfully at the days that I thought were busy! It is so much work having 2 but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It is a huge adjustment figuring out how to split your time- for each child, your marriage, the house and hopefully for yourself. I'm still adjusting!

I only have 2 but going from 1-2 was a much harder adjustment than going from 0-1! For sure. It might also have to do with the fact that my DS (#2) is a handful! DD, on the otherhand, was a VERY good baby. If DS wasn't such an animal, maybe it wouldn't feel as hard as it does sometimes
But you make it work. And wine helps  
I have to agree with this....sorry! 0-1 was easy for us, throwing 2 in the mix has been a lot more difficult.
Lets just say I am not regretting for a second that I tied my tubes.

Moms of 2 or more...
We have 2, 0 to 1 was definitely easier than 1 to 2. It was very difficult. DD1 was just super easy, DS2 was normal so he seemed difficult but he really wasn't.

I went from 0 to 2 and from 2 to 3.
Zero to 2 was "easy"
2 to 3 has been more difficult. They are all under 3 and there are things that I just physically can't do alone right now and that is frustrating for me.
BUT I have had all good babies! So even though your first was good you could have a really good second too! Congrats!

Maybe because I had #3 when DS was 7 and DD was 5. They are very self-sufficient and actually helpful with the baby. Also DS#3 is such a good baby!
Going from 2 to 3 was easy for me too- ds's were 6 and 4 and both in school full time. Both 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 were hard for me. But 3 to 4 wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

sorry to say but I agree with cds58019. ONE baby is easy as pie but the three together is tough especially so close in age!

We have 3 with #4 scheduled to be born next month.
I think it's all dependent on the baby.
1 was easy (well as easy as a baby can be)...but she was was an easy-going baby. 2 wasn't hard, but my son did give us some challenges. 3 wouldn't be so bad, but my second son has definitely redefined "rough" for us. I'm hoping #4 has the same disposition as #1. :hah

O to 1 was definitely a bigger transition for me. 1 to 2 was fine but I had three years between them so not sure if that helped. I LOVE the dynamic between my two kids...dont fret it will be amazing!!

0-1 was a lot harder. 1-2 was so easy and I was terrified for months before hand. We are expecting #3 so I hope it goes well.

I have 3 kids. Going from 0-1 was the biggest adjustment. The other 2 babies just fit in naturally. Didn't really feel like much change.
