How do I get my DS to stop rolling over in his sleep ???

My almost 4mth old keeps rolling over in his sleep and getting stuck on his belly and it wakes him.
I spend the whole night either rolling him back over and trying to get him back to sleep or just worrying that he's sleeping on his belly and can't breathe!
Any magic solutions?? Lol

DD just started rolling as well. Pediatrician said to leave her because if she rolled back yo front she is fine and can roll back. It's a CIO situation. She said most kids become better sleepers on their bellies.

Unfortunately, no. Like so many other things, it's one of those phases that will pass. And once they can roll to their bellies themselves, they are safe- no need to worry about them sleeping that way. If I remember correctly from my 2 boys, that phase lasted about a week, maybe slightly more, until they were able to roll back over once they went to their bellies. Or just be comfortable there and not get upset that they were there. Hang in there mama!

I would be more comfortable with it if he wasn't flailing around trying to get back over haha I feel like he's just stuck there. He makes like no attempt to roll back..last night I let him fuss and did fall back asleep but his face was pressed up against the bars so I moved him back which woke him up again ugh!

Dd is 7 months and we went through this for a long time. At first it was b/c she couldn't figure out how to roll back even though she did it all day long, I guess b/c she was sleeping she would get scared. I would go in up to 7 times some nights flip her, paci and leave. I was exhausted. Then it stopped b/c she could do it on her own and now were back to it b/c she's trying to crawl. It's like non stop with this kid. Dd1 didn't do this. Haha but since she's been on her stomach she's slept much better.
And she sleeps face down. It scares me but she moves around so much that I let it go. I know she's only like that for. Little while and usually her hands are under her face so I know she's not really face planted into the mattress

I went through this with DS and am expecting it at some point with DD. With DS, he would roll to his belly and then flail his arms and legs around because he didn't know what to do. It was cute but so frustrating!!! Honestly, he had to just learn how to sleep on his belly comfortably. I didn't roll him back onto his back though. I would keep him on his belly and rub his back. If he needed it, I would position him on his belly so he would be more comfortable. Eventually, he learned how to do that himself. Once he did, he stopped all the flailing around. Took about 2 weeks to be completely comfortable and then he was fine.
