For my son's first birthday I found the perfect invitation. It's handmade so it's the seller's one of a kind. My issue is it's going to be a small party at our home and at most I need 11 invites. This includes two for his baby book (they are double sided). The min to get is 20, so literally 9 will be wasted. The costs is $60.00 for the 20 with shipping. I love them and they are basically the start of what made the theme for the day. But it's killing me to waste and spend money on something no one really saves..... but I love them lol.
What would you do ?

Can you make them yourself (or something similar)?
Or perhaps speak with the etsy seller and tell her that you don't need 20 - maybe she'll give you a discount.

I don't think I can make myself. She doesn't offer a smaller amount, but she does offer the digital file for $25.00. I am not sure my printer would make them as nice ...

I would just get them if you really like them. I have had plenty leftovers before with holiday cards, and when I had DS 1st bday thank you cards I had to order in increments of 12 so I have a lot left over.

I bought a digital file for my DD's birthday from Etsy and had them printed at Staples!! They came out GREAT!

That's a good idea ! Were they double sided? Did they do it for you?

You can buy the digital and try staples. Her print lab probably only prints in batches of 20. I only needed 36 for my girls party and had to order 50 b/c my print lab only prints in 25 batches.
