Green Poop
DD just turned 7 weeks and over the past few days her poop has gone from mustardy yellow to green.  It literally looks like she's pooping split pea green soup. Also, lots of poopy diapers today. I'm not sure what's causing this. She's been gassy for the past couple of weeks and I'm trying to alleviate her discomfort and pain with gas drops.
I did some reading and it may just be normal baby poop or a foremilk/hindmilk issue, or milk protein allergy. I haven't noticed any behavioral changes. She's still her rambunctious, squirmy self and I'm still getting those delicious smiles and coos. She has been sleeping a lot more during the day (growth spurt perhaps) and when she's BFing, she'll stop like she wants to take a break and then start crying, which is new.
Has anyone experienced this and if so, any advice? If it's a foremilk/hindmilk issue, should I just feed from one breast? How long should I pump for to insure I get both types of milk?

Try to keep her on the one boob till she fully drains in them offer her the other. It's not hurting her. Same for pumping. Try to pump till you feel empty.

Is there any mucous in the poop? It could possibly be a milk protein allergy. My ds acted completely normal and did not have any clear signs of an issue other then green, runny poops with mucous in them. His poops started to change around 3 months and he was diagnosed shortly after. Keep an eye on it. It might be worth bringing up to your ped.

Yea, my ds gets they when I eat dairy. It sucks, but I try to go dairy free all the time. The stopping and crying is a sign too. It is discomfort. Try not eating dairy and see what happens.

I agree with what all the PPs said, but also, have you been eating green food like salads - that could do it too.

My son had this too. I had an overactive let down or whatever the term is so it was a foremilk/hindmilk issue for us. I would hand express is possible before feeding him. And if he didn't empty the boob i would offer the same side at the start of the next feeding.

What does mucous look like? Like the stringy stuff? I don't think I've seen anything like that.

Do you eliminate all dairy? It's easy to not eat the big stuff, milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, etc, but there's so much hidden, I can't imagine getting it all.

No green food but I haven't been feeling great so something is definitely bothering me.

My ped says that for a BF baby, any poop that is the color of leaves is OK- anything from green to orange to brown to yellow to mustard.

DD had this and I'm pretty sure she was getting too much foremilk. I had an oversupply that took a long time to level out. Feeding her off one side at a time definitely helped.
I did see a gastro at one point and he said green poop was in the realm of normal and nothing to be concerned about.
ETA: Just careful with feeding off one side if you don't have an oversupply. It definitely will affect your supply. Just try to make sure she draining one side before offering the other.
