Newborn Poop Question? Green poop!
My DD diapers are always a yellow seedy color. This morning I noticed it was green and still very seedy. I am EBF.
Is this normal???
Should I call the pediatrician if I noticed it again in another diaper??

Does she feel ok?
DH and I had a stomach virus back in Dec. He had it the worst, I got a much milder case, and DS had it even milder than I. At that time he had a greenish diaper. I dont know if it was related to our stomach virus or not.
At that time, I remember researching it though and it seemed normal to have an occasional greenish poop.

She seems fine. She doesnt have a fever or any other symptoms of a cold or virus. Sleeping well and very calm. She is 5 weeks old.

I see that in DD too. Some color variation is normal. If she's not uncomfortable, it's probably fine.

its normal there poop is supposed start out black like tar then after a couple of days turn yellow & seedy then turn green and seedy.. I wouldnt worry about it but it dosnt hurt to call the ped just to give u peace of mind.

totally normal. DS' poop was always either yellow/brown and seedy or green, DARK green and pastey. I was told not the worry unless its black, white or red

Green poop can be an indication of foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. Try to make sure DC is emptying the breast before switching sides. Also, make sure you're starting with the opposite side at the next feeding.
