Ears pierced at 2.5
My dd just asked for earrings 
I said I wanted to take her when she asked for them.
Is 2.5 a bad age?

A family member said that her ped recommends this age (2) as the perfect age to do it.
That being said, I'm waiting til my DD is at least 6, so she can remember it. I was 13 and the pain prevented me from getting a tattoo (or a belly piercing) as a teen.... Not that there is anything awful about either, but as a teen, I would have chosen a dumb tattoo.

I waited until 5, and I'm glad I did. The cleaning routine (twice a day for weeks after) takes some time sitting still.

Ears pierced at 2.5
My DD also asked for earrings at 26 mos. it was fine- she cried a bit and was over it quickly. I think it's a good age to do it.

did they ever annoy her after they were in?
I am not so worried about the day we get them done..more that a week later she will want them out!
Had I known her hair was going to take FOREVER to grow I would have done when she was a baby.
