CIO/Night Feeding question

If you did CIO when your LO was still doing a middle of the night feeding did you wake them up if they fell asleep on the bottle/boob before you put them down?

We're doing the Ferber method to help DS fall asleep on his own and it worked beautifully the first night but failed the second. I'm thinking I should have woken him up after he fell asleep on my boob during the night feeding?

CIO/Night Feeding question

I've been doing a lot of reading on all this stuff since DD started having sleep issues and what I read (not limited to Ferber) is that during the night if they fall asleep feeding that it's fine to put them down asleep.

I don't know about Ferber, but I'd never wake my baby up once he's asleep.

Re: CIO/Night Feeding question

When my girls fall asleep while eating they get a freebie. I don't wake them.

No definitely not. Let him sleep if he falls asleep during the night feeding. I think "drowsy, but awake" is only for the initial bedtime.
