Has anyone used the book Twelve Hours' Sleep by Twelve Weeks?
DD is 12 weeks old. She was sleeping well at night early on, from around 10:30/11 until 5:30/6ish. I thought it would only get better from there. Unfortunately, since Sunday, she has been waking up again at 3 looking to eat. She only eats 2 oz and then passes out again. She then wakes again at 6 to eat (her original waking up time). This is killing me since I also have a 4 year old that is super demanding and I am at my wits end.
Please tell me if you used this book and did it work for you?

It may be a growth spurt. She's probably just falling asleep before drinking more. try changing her diaper before or in the middle of a feeding so she drinks more. Maybe then she will sleep past 6?

Once my DS started skipping middle of the night feeding at 7 weeks... the Ped told me to never go back to giving it. We listened... Some nights were tough, but we have never done it.
He was not really waking for that, it was usually teething, shots, his cold, crib transition or just looking for us for comfort.

I usually try to put her off as long as I can by holding her, rocking her, giving her the paci, etc but after 15 minutes of not settling down I gave her the bottle. I don't think she just wanted to suck to soothe herself because she kept spitting the paci out. She is drooling like crazy and sticking her hands in her mouth but I don't feel a tooth on her gums. It might be teething, but then what?
I know some suggested giving her more to drink but she is a slow drinker even during the day. It takes her an hour to drink just 4 oz! I don't know if I could actually get her to drink more than that, I tried this morning and she just wouldn't.

I read the book, but it would never have worked for us. It was a quick read, so you might want to read it, but I didn't want to force DS to go longer between bottles during the day. If he's hungry, I feed him.
Your daughter might need more calories during the day. If she's taking an hour to finish a bottle do you think she needs the next size nipple? An hour is really long to eat!
Are you still swaddling? Around 3 months old DS would wake himself up at night because he was trying to break out of the swaddle. Once I stopped swaddling him, he went back to sttn.

We tried the next size nipple for a day or two and she ended up dribbling out so much of the bottle and gulping even more than usual. I do think she needs more calories, I just can't figure out how to get her to eat more. She pushes out the bottle whenever I try to give it to her.
