are we BDing too little? (CBEFM)
We are using the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor
From reading various posts on here, my plan is: Low - do nothing High - BD every other day Peak - BD each day High after Peak - do nothing (is this day needed? its already after 2 days of peak time, so isn't it too late?)
Is that the "correct" amount? (I know, everyone is different)
Last month, we ended up BDing only 3 times (she had 1 High day only before Peak) This month, it was High on Sunday and High today (we are thinking it will be Peak tomorrow), so we will end up BDing only 3 times again this month.
My wife thinks that is too little, her friend who is a nurse (with 2 kids) says the trick is to BD as much as possible/every day.
But my doctor, and various articles I've read, say to do it every other day, because the guy's sperm has to "fill up" again and get to a good level / plus, guys need rest too!
Opinons? Thank you

I would add an extra day or 2 after Peak of BDing b/c Peak just means you're going to release the egg within 24-36 hours from the first Peak reading.

But isnt that too late? Peak means an egg will be released within 24-36 hours.
Peak day 1 (lets say it is on a Saturday), that means an egg will be released by Sunday night (which is peak day 2) the High day after the 2 Peaks (Monday) is about 48 hours, isn't that past the 24-36 hour window?

Re: are we BDing too little? (CBEFM)
I am pregnant right now and due any day.............I used the CBEFM the cycle I got pregnant. We BD once at night on my two Peak days and once on the High day after the peak. That's it. Got my BFP at 11DPO. You don't need to go crazy BD'ing constantly.......a few times, at the right time is all you need.
Good luck!!!

I agree with adding a day or two after peak. We did a similar schedule as you the two times I got pregnant but we also did a day after peak, JUST in CASE!

Even if it's late, what's the harm in doing it an extra day or 2 for good measure? Many people have conceived this way (see Hofstra's post above, for example) so if you can handle an extra couple of days of , then do it.

I know sometimes I won't release my egg until 48 hours after my peak fertility time. Also once released you still have 24ish hours where the egg is making its way down the tubes and can be fertilized then. It won't hurt to add an extra day unless it literally hurts!
