He hates milk..ok so now what...
I have never had this problem with my other 2...so I'm totally stressing that he will not drink whole milk....I took him off of nutramigen ..he is a year old...not cold turkey....but I'm a little nervous he is not drinking really...grant he is getting over a double ear infection.....any tips I will take do thanks

My 1 year old is the same! He was EBF though and we are weaning off of breastfeeding and going to whole milk. We've been giving him the milk in a sippy with every meal and he takes a sip and then lets it dribble out because he doesn't like it. He knows how to drink from a sippy with no issues, he'll drink water all the time.
My pediatrician just said to keep giving him the cup of milk. He will eventually drink it. And I think he is finally starting too. It's been a week and he doesn't drink a ton, but he's not spitting it all out either!

I could have written this myself. DD was the same exact way, I was so stressed over it. We just kept offering the sippy with milk and she finally decided to drink it. She initially would spit it out, then would drink very small amounts, finally she came around and drank it no problem. Now she loves it and requests it at 2 years old.
We tried making her strawberry milk but it didn't really work for us. She wasn't really interested in that either so we just stuck with the plain old milk. Good luck, I know how stressful it can be!

My DS was the same. We began transitioning him with Ovaltine. We would put less & less ovaltine in his cup & eventually stopped adding it altogether.

My DD never took to milk. She's had a cup full maybe one or two times in her nearly 3 years. I never worried about it, so my advice is don't worry about it!

you can try a toddler formula - Enfagrow. It doesn't have sugar in it like the drinks pediasure, but is an inbetween taste of formula and milk. I think they even have a nutramigen one for older kids. I know there is a soy and gentlease one also
I would also keep offering regular milk

I was BF'ing (and still am, at 22 mos), and my DD didn't like milk at all when I intro'd it at a year. Took her until about 18 mos to give it a try (even if I gave it in a bottle, same as how she'd easily take breastmilk). Once she was ok w/ straws, I intro'd her to milk in a special puppy cup w a straw, and I swear she started to take to it b/c she loves puppies. She started calling it "puppy milk" compared to "mommy milk." Now, she still BF's at 22 mos, but also gets about 2-3 oz of milk a day. It's all progress, but takes a while.

We do vanilla almond milk unsweetened. Ds has a milk allergy and his ped nutritionist said the almond milk was just fine

Ditto, or coconut milk. DD1 HATED whole milk. She spit it at me lol. Technically they don't *need* any kind of milk.
