Newborn mommas
do any mommas notice that they wake up sweaty in the middle of the night? I don't mean a drop of sweat I mean dripping. This started after my lo was born and she's almost 2 weeks. Is it related to breast feeding or maybe just hormone changes?

Yep. I had that in my 3rd tri and then for a few months after DD was born. I didn't bf, so I assume it's the hormones.

It's definitely hormones! I'm 4 weeks pp and still hot all the time. Before I got pg, I was always cold.

Yes I think it's very common and it's worse in the beginning but does get better (although it may not ever go back to normal). It's from all the crazy PP hormones.

Yes, it took like a month before sweating was less intense! I think it's the hormones!

Yes this happend to me with my first child!! To the point I had to change in the middle of the night because my pj were soaked!!! Hormones!! I'm hoping this time around it isn't that bad!!

I had it for the first 5 weeks pp. I had to rinse off a few times in the middle of the night. It gets better

I'm 4 weeks pp and still having this. I've changed my shirt in the middle of the night just because it can be so uncomfortable. I swear BF just adds to it but of course I have nothing to compare it to!

yup its the hormones... almost 10 weeks here and its a little better- however I still run hot vs before being pregnant I was always cold.

I am almost 6 weeks pp and it has finally subsided some. I seem to get hot flashes every so often which I NEVER had since I was always cold before I was pregnant.

I never even thought anything of this!!! I figured it was because I was used to the house being at 58 degrees while I was pregnant (and I slept with the fan on, in shorts and a t-shirt, and with no blankets) and now we have to keep the house at 68-70 degrees for the baby! It makes sense now though. I wake up like a sweaty mess in the middle of the night!
