Nervous ab OHSS
Is there a lower chance with clomid vs. injectables? I'm on day1 clomid 50mg and just slight cramping and feeling flighty. I'm so nervous I will hyperstim bc my estrogen is already higher than normal. Please tell me I'm overreacting..

Don't worry. That's a low dose of Clomid and you have to expect to feel something. You are producing more follicles then usual and your hormones are fluctuating.
I always had some cramping. I also had Hot flashes, feeling anxious (Which I think was just my nerves) and blurred vision.
Weirdly enough, the eye Dr. said the blurred vision came from my tears becoming thicker due to the hormonal changes. Just needed some drops to keep moistening my eyes and it was ok.

There is a much higher chance with the shots. I wouldn't worry about it with such a low dose of Clomid, but If you are truly concerned, then lower the sodium intake in your diet. That will decrease your chances of OHSS.

Thanks so much ladies..I feel better :) I'm def limiting my sodium intake just in case bc my estrogen is already very high.

honestly i wouldnt think twice about it with clomid. its generally not that effective that it would cause hyperstimming. injectables yes, it happened to me, but clomid, esp 50mg, i really wouldnt worry about.
