Do you think Atlantic City is going to be an inappropriate place to bring a 13 month old
Dh and I are contemplating going to Harrahs in AC with my parents this upcoming weekend. I'm on the fence about it. He'd have to sleep in his pack n play... It's cold so can't really walk on what's left of the boardwalk. The only things I will be able to do with ds is bring him in the indoor pool at the hotel and walk around the shops. This seems more difficult for me then a few days to get away right?

Do you think Atlantic City is going to be an inappropriate place to bring a 13 month old
My SIL & BIL brought my nephew to AC a few times when he was a baby. The only real issue they had was that they were separated the whole time because while one was in the casino, the other had to watch him b/c children, even babies, cannot be on the casino floor. There were times where DH & I were there or my IL's so we would take turns.

I personally would not find any enjoyment in chasing my toddler around there.

I might be wrong but I don't think children are allowed in the indoor pool area.
To answer your question - no, wouldn't bring kids to AC.

Add me to the me neither list as well. I would go with DH and leave the kids with a babysitter.

They can go to the indoor pools.
I've been with my kids a few times. I usually go in the summer so we can go to the beach. It is very cold outside... But you could go to the mall, aquarium, and cape may (30 minutes away with winter shops and trolley tours).
Only you would be able to decide if it's worth it.

I didn't realize there was a family pool but that looks like it is closed until Spring 2013. The main pool is 21 & over.

we brought ds when he was in a stroller........ It was nice outside on the boardwalk walking him and going in the shops.... but once you step into a casino they were all over us making us move the stroller(even though he had already fallen asleep)....
I wouldn't go in this cold weather though.
