i had a sprinkle for my 3rd and there is a good chance im having a sprinkle for my 4th.
I have great friends, its small at my friends house, an intimate gathering to celebrate a new baby.

My mom mentioned to me as soon as I got pregnant that she wanted to give me a sprinkle. Just something small with my close relatives and friends. My DD will be 4.5 yrs older than her new sibling so I do need a few tihings for the new baby. I did register for a few essentials because my family will want to buy me gifts. That's just how our family is......they are always buying gifts. lol
I saved everything from my DD but I do need some things replaced like bottles, binkys, bibs, burp cloths, etc. Little things. And even if I have another girl I will need clothes sinces the seasons won't line up right, DD was Sept. and this baby is March. A registry was just an easy way for me to keep track of what I need to get and in case anyone needs some ideas. Honestly, there are maybe 20 things on there, all small items, nothing big.
I went to a sprinkle for one of my friends and it was very nice. Simple, at her moms house. Everyone had fun and she did get gifts from everyone too. I think they are nice, I don't see anything wrong with them. Seems like they are becoming more popular these days too.

i agree... i'm really not a fan
ditto. and my shower sounded like a pp's definition of a sprinkle b/c the fact that i had a baby shower at all was kind of scandalous. (we're jewish).

Agreed!!! And I think people would want to celebrate your little girl with you!! You'll get a ton of clothing etc. If someone is going to plan it for you I say there is nothing wrong with celebrating each baby!!!
yes exactly...why is the 1st baby the only one that deserves a celebration?
