2011 citi mini jogger v. 2012 citi mini jogger

So we went to babies r us and picked up our citi mini stroller, but when we got home we realized it was a 2011 instead of the 2012. I googled the differences and saw that the main difference is that the 2012 has an automatic close instead of a manual, like the 2011.

Do you ladies think its worth it to go back and get the 2012?? It's an extra $100 approx.

I have the 2011 City mini. And I love it. I don't think I'd spend the extra money for the 2012.

And just and FYI its not a jogger if you are looking for one. Its made by Baby Jogger and they make joggers but the city mini isnt one.

I was wondering the same thing. I have the 2011 and i didn't open it yet. I was going to exchange it for the 2012 one but I heard the only big difference is the basket under the stroller. Someone told me that the basket is hard to get things in and out of. I think I may just keep my 2011 one.

Yes i would spend the extra. i realized that the one we had on the registry and then went to BBB to look at the 2012 but we wound up looking at the City Mini GT 2012 which has the brake on the side of the frame, the handle adjusts up and down the seat is more cushioned and the basket a bit bigger. To me it was worth the $$ cause DH is tall and I hear that the older 2011 if you are tall you hit your feet on the basket.

Its all in what you consider important to you. though. My main like is that I can fold it with no issue.
